NAIFA-PA recently held its Scranton Legislative Breakfast at the historic Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel. Hosted by Past State President Walter Mitchell, attendees heard from state legislators and staffers representing newly-elected U.S. Senator Dave McCormick and U.S. Rep. Rob Bresnahan.

State Rep. Jeff Olsommer, an insurance agent, urged NAIFA members to get involved in the political process. "Good people need to get involved and not let others drive the bus," he said. Rep. Olsommer remarked that it was critical for members to reach out to elected officials to communicate their concerns about public policy issues.

Also, attending were State Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski, Nathan Gerace, NE Director for U.S. Senator Dave McCormick, Francine Dudziec, representing U.S. Rep. Rob Bresnahan and Mackenzie Mueller, representing State Sen. Rosemary Brown.
